I went with my mother and my 11 yr old daughter, we shared an outside cabin on deck 6, we were very happy with the cabin, we had been concerned before that it would be too small but we had no problem. I'd read other reviews saying the boat was 'past it' which I totally disagree. Yes the cabin was a little tired, but spotlessly cleaned every day. The staff on board were wonderful, every single one smiley and talkative.
We ate most nights in the Four Seasons restaurant which was lovely. The staff, especially Jared, Charlie and Vincent were genuinely pleasant and interested in what you'd been doing that day or what you'd planned for the next day.
Captains Dinner evening was great fun, it was lovely getting dressed up for the occasion and the staff all put on a 'show'. To think they do this week in week out, you certainly couldn't tell, they had lots of fun too.
Fairly spacious with bunk beds. Ample wardrobe space.
Toilet and shower room compact but perfectly manageable. The shower was lovely and hot and powerful. Towels were changed as often as we wanted.
Yes it was a bit tired but on the whole no complaints, we all slept well in comfortable beds. It was amusing that my daughter couldn't sit up straight on her top bunk as she was too tall, but that just made it more fun for her. I wouldn't as an adult want to have to sleep on the top bunk.
Deck 6 seemed ideal, as Deck 7 was the promenade deck so you could have people wandering passed your windows.
