Sail Date: Apr 2017
Cabin: Club Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

This was our first cruise with Azamara but we have cruised with the following lines, Celebrity (Elite Status), NCL, HAL & Princess.

Azamara advertises as a luxury cruise line but we feel they fall short with making this claim.

The good:

Cabin Review

Club Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

Cabin VX

We were in stateroom 6001 which is a VX category balcony stateroom. The stateroom is average size and this one looks out on the bow of the ship. The only issue with the stateroom is that it is located directly above the theatre and you can clearly hear the music from the nightly shows. I would have thought that there would be more soundproofing between the decks.

Port Reviews

Tangier

We had a local guide give us a 3 hour walking tour and it was very interesting.

Gibraltar

This was our second time in Gibraltar and we walked to the town center. Lots to see and do in this port.

Barcelona

We bought tickets for the hop on hop off bus and it was worth the money.
