We cruised with our two kids, ages 2 and 4, plus a group of friends who had a 1 year old and an 8 year old. The cruise was very kid friendly, but not as baby/toddler friendly. There were lots of activities and events for kids 3 years old and older, but very limited options for those under 3, especially those not potty-trained, as they couldn't even go in the pools. But everyone was very friendly and the staff all loved seeing the kids and talking to them. We stopped at Nassau, CocoCay, and Key West. Both Nassau and CocoCay had great beaches, which the kids loved! And at Key West, we went to Kelly's Caribbean Bar and Grille, which was AMAZING. They had free-range chickens roaming around which the kids loved.
Also, both my kids have severe food allergies, and the main dining room staff was very careful and accommodating. One child is allergic to milk and the other is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame, and we didn't have any issue at all. We were even allowed to bring our hemp milk from home in order to provide milk to our allergic child, although the cruise also did have almond milk and soy milk available.
Overall it was an awesome experience and I definitely think we'd take our kids cruising again! And if we wait a year, our youngest will be potty-trained and able to take part in all the kids' activities, so we could definitely go on Enchantment of the Seas again.
Our cabin was a grand suite with balcony and it was great! We had a fridge, a large bathroom with two sinks and a tub, a king-sized bed, a pull-out couch, room for a pack 'n play, plus a large balcony with lounge chairs and table and chairs. Every morning, our room attendant would put the pull-out bed away and make it back into a couch and every evening, he would make the bed again. It was really pretty cool. Plus there was a curtain divider to separate the main room from the master bed.
Nassau was excellent! We didn't want to pay to go to Atlantis, so we walked to Junkanoo Beach, which was only about a 15 minute walk from the port. It was very nice and spacious and the kids loved playing in the sand!
When we went to Key West, it was hot and HUMID! Key West is mostly for shopping, so we basically just walked around and went to lunch. We lunched at Kelly's Caribbean Bar and Grille, which I highly recommend! The lunch and drinks were delicious! And they were very kid friendly. Plus most of the seating is outside with large fans and large trees for shade, which was a pretty cool atmosphere. And there was a family of chickens running around which our kids loved.
