First time on a cruise went as a group of friends who all live in Cyprus, Some had been before on this cruise but we were 6 newbies to cruising. We took a taxi to Limassol from Paphos arrived in Limassol about 12.30 and were guided to place to get your information pack and leave your luggage took a little while to do this but got paperwork and cabin number had to go through customs and then went aboard ship we had to register a debit/credit card and then we were given a card which you use for meals and drinks. We had already booked the drinks package so everything you got was recorded on this card and you could get a print out anytime but we got our final printout on final day of the cruise. Some cocktails, water and some food ie steaks were chargeable but you were told about this before you used the card.

We we directed to our cabin which was an outside cabin with porthole and a double bed, shower , wc, and mini bar. All towels including beach towels were provided. We were very happy with the cabin it was roomy and was just what we wanted. We went on deck and sat with friends for a drink and something to eat. We didn't set sail until 9pm so we had plenty of time to explore and get our bearings. We went down to dinner in the Compass Rose restaurant and our waitors introduced themselves the menu consisted of a starter, main course and sweet if you didn't like anything on the menu there was also a snack menu ie cheeseburger, toasties etc . Didn't have a problem with getting a meal as you had choices to choose from water was free with your meal and of course you could have a drink too. Had some great meals well cooked and tasty although I had fillet steak which was chargeable at £12,95 and I tried it on 3 different nights and it was chewy I did send it back but it was still the same. My friend had T-bone steak and that was OK so maybe just the cut of meat. I did enjoy most of the food though so don't be put off,

The show was on after dinner and they were all excellent different every night so plenty of variety and we also had a comedian for 2 nights and he was very funny and everyone enjoyed his shows, We tried a taster at the Casino for £5 where you were shown how to play Black Jack, Poker and Roulette really enjoyed this as never been in a Casino before and we were allowed to have a go at playing without risk for a while. We went and played a few times and really enjoyed it, Went to the Horizons bar, Lido bar,High Spirits Nightclub, Raffles bar and Casino, Broadway Show lounge, Sirocco A La Carte Restaurant, Beauty Salon, we tried everything so you could have easy listening music , shows, and even Kareoke so take your pick, Read more
