This was our second river cruise with AmaWaterways and, as was the case with our first cruise, we were delighted with the experience. Every logistical detail was managed professionally, including the airport transfers to and from the ship, and the many entertaining and educational excursions. Our room aboard the ship was light and bright, clean and attractively decorated. Buffet-style breakfasts and lunches offered many delicious options and the multi-course served dinner options were varied, delicious and attractively presented. Housekeeping and wait staff were consistently friendly and professional. For us, the excursions were the highlight of the experience, especially the Tulips & Bulb Fields tour; the Antwerp Chocolate, Waffles & Beer tour; the Amsterdam Canal Cruise; and the Keukenhof Gardens tour. The excursion guides were, with one exception, knowledgeable, interesting and professional. At the end of our one week cruise, we realized we had received an outstanding and comprehensive introduction to the Netherlands and Belgium. We learned a lot and had fun too!
