Our first river cruise and the Grand European on Viking Modi exceeded our expectations. Ship and crew were top rate and took care of all our needs. Our luggage was lost and they located it and had it delivered to our cabin. Just an example of the great service. The cruise stops and tours were excellent with very knowledgeable guides. Our Cruise Director Lubo made everything run seamlessly. It was a whirlwind tour of the cities and countries due to the itinerary, but it gave us a great overview and some free time in each city. Budapest was the highlight and an unexpected surprise. Meeting the other people on the ship was the best part of the cruise and we have many new friends from all over the world. Food was good and plentiful. They also kept the wine flowing at lunch and dinner. I can't recommend this cruise and Viking highly enough!
