I chose the cruise because of the ports. Loved tenerife because my wife and I went to Loro Park which was fantastic. Next was Malaga Spain, took free walking tour that was not so good, went to Picasso Museum which was not great, having seen Picasso works before. City is nice to walk around. Went to the Fort, Alhambra, which was a lot of walking for seniors.
Next was Cartegena Spain, Very nice small city where we had churros and hot chocolate at Valor restaurant which was terrific. Used Wifi. Next was two days in Barcelona. Toured Sagrada church with audio tour, went for tapas at Barrio Biarritz, which was great, and then went to see spectacular Flamingo opera at the Palau de la Musica. Quick taxi back to the ship late at night. Next day walked around Gotic area and had churros and hot chocolate at Petritxol Xocoa. It was better at Valor. Used metro which was easy buying T10 ticket. Next was Villefranche. Took the Monte Carlo, Monaco tour. Next was Livorno. While most people visited Pisa or Florence, we already had seen those cities, so chose to stay in Livorno. Took the Livorno boat trip and had an good experience. Cruise ended in Rome.
The food on the ship was excellent. Did not need to eat at any specialty restuarants. Shows were generally good. Production shows were not as good as the individual guest performers. Room was great. 16 day cruise but we had no problem with storing clothes since we brought with us a closet hanging shelves system from Target, and 3 foldable boxes to put in the storage area over the bed. I would definitely repeat a TA cruise. Only 1 bad day at sea. Weather was very good throughout the cruise trip.
Great Location. Could hear some music bass noise from the theatre which was beneath us. But not a problem since it was day time. Loved location of cabin. Not to far from elevator, and excellent unobstructed view. Also by being on deck 6 able to get to dining area and theatre quickly. Two decks down. Also able to go to Bacio alot to pickup treats.
