We booked Viking's Rhine Discovery which took us to Brugge. We arrived around noon which gave us time to check into our hotel and meet with our guide. Our guide Pebbles was wonderful she took us on a brief walking tour to get us accumented to the most beautiful town I have visited and then we had time on our own. We stayed two nights in Brugge at Duke's Palace Hotel service is superb. On our way to Amsterdam we stopped in Ghent for a guided tour.

We stayed two nights in Amsterdam and then Viking brought us to our ship, since there were people who just arrived as they booked the Rhine Getaway, we were all offered to go on an included walking tour of Amsterdam. Viking also offered shuttle buses back and forth for those of us that wanted to do our own thing.

Our ship Kara was very nice however it was their entire crew that exceeded my expectations. I can't thank them enough for making our trip remarkable. Read more
