From the moment we stepped on board the SS Maria Theresa through to our drop off at the airport on the last day, we were treated like royalty. Without exception every crew member was pleasant, helpful and friendly. They seemed to know every passengers name by the second day ! The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The ship was lavishly and tastefully decorated following the theme throughout. The embarkation and disembarkation were easy and went smoothly. Before dinner appetizers and drinks were served in the lounge nightly. During this time, the tour director provided a nightly overview of the next day's excursions and had every detail addressed. Shore excursions were well planned with English speaking guides who shared local history. The wine steward provided a nightly review of the featured wine for each night's dinner. There was nightly onboard entertainment in the lounge before and after dinner. This cruise and itinerary would appeal to adults...not so much for children.
