Pros: The ports were fantastic. The crew made it easy to disembark at each port (although we did have an hour delay at Curacao). The crew and staff were very friendly. The Burgers and BBQ were fantastic. The Mongolian Wok was also fantastic food. The Prime Rib and the Lobster were really tasty in the main dining room.

Cons: The elevators were not working when we embarked. We had to walk up 5 flights of steps with luggage to get to the Lido deck. The Lido buffet was below average. The Mongolian Wok was popular but was very slow as there were only 2 chefs. If you didn't get in line 15 minutes before they opened, you waited as long as an hour to get served. There were only 2 production shows during the 8 night cruise and one night there was no entertainment (comedy nor show) at all. The shows were fun but not up to RCCL standards. The pools were small and there was not an adults only pool. It seemed like they needed at least 2 more pools for a ship that size. We tried to use the adults only Serenity Deck as there were only a few people up there. What we found was towels saving every chair. We did not see the chair policy being enforced. As suggested on Cruise Critic, I went to the dining room the 1st day to see my table assignment. Our table was not in a good location and I asked to be moved to the other restaurant close to a window (the Northern Lights does not have any windows). My request was denied. Our server worked really hard but could not keep up. 5 out of the 8 days our table was served after all the surrounding tables were served. We were one of the last tables to leave the entire dining room on those days. The bingo didn't pay very well at all to the winners. $5000 bingo doesn't mean they give away $5000, it means that if you get all card filled before 50 numbers are called you win. I suspect that odds of that happening are pretty bad, stay away. The casino did not have any quarter machines that the max bet is 2 or 3 quarters. They all were multiply line machines that costs many dollars a pull. The poker table was electronic. The rake was terribly high, stay away.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8M

The cabin was nice. The balcony was nice but we did find cigarette butts (gross). Fidel was very friendly and kept our cabin very clean.
