We have family in the Pacific Northwest and wanted to both see them and tour the region. We are in our seventies and found most of the passengers just around our age bracket. The boat is easy to both board and get around.
The hotel accommodations before the cruise were quite good. Clean quiet room. The check-in procedure went well. The boat was close enough to the hotel that we could walk to it.
The most outstanding feature that I remember about the boat is that it had the loudest flushing toilets I have ever heard. I've been on other cruises and have used the facilities. But this was a roaring beast!
The cabin had paper thin walls. I could hear every conversation either outside the cabin or in the room next store. As mentioned before, the toilets flushed so loudly you could hear them from two cabins away. The bathroom was not "squeaky clean" when we arrived, but perfumed to cover some odors. The cabin attendant often forgot to leave things like clean wash cloths, bathrobes, mats, etc.
