Sail Date: Jun 2017
Cabin: Grand Suite with Balcony

We set said June 10, 2017. We had a great boarding experience, great grand suite (felt we overpaid compared to everyone else), but it was a great room. We booked with ICruise.com to attempt a great deal, but we paid more than persons with larger rooms. The concierge (two of them) were just amazing and super sweet as well as our steward. Our room was kept pristine. First excursion was a total disappointment...Atlantas Resort! We were taken there at 8:20 am. The process to getting us there was a bit disorganized an photos were not even set up outside the boat until it was time to board us and they tried to pull us aside to take pics! It was took late As I said 8 am. The lazy river (which we have loved an visited several times) did not open until 10 am, and there was one pool open. There was also no food or drink except Starbucks open. And after 10 we had to wait 30 to 40 minutes to get an inner tube because they were still blowing them up. People stood in the water waiting and then it was a battle to get a tube Once we finally got one it was close to 11 am an as we hit the lazy river, we came to about 2 minutes into it and its as roped off and shut down in one of the best areas. Our tube was taken from us and we were told to walk to a different side of the river to enter and find a new raft. We were so frustrated and were not about to fight for a new one. There were people with tubes on their chairs stacked and a guy still blowing them up and people waiting for them. We left at 11 am along with other guest of Royal Caribbean. Worst trip excursion ever. They refunded us 1/2 of the trip. We paid about $280 for a nightmare we did not enjoy at all. The time of the ship didn't match up with the time of the resort and the resort were so lax in how they were ready for the guest.

The ship has thousands of people and I see other reviews that say you cannot tell. Well that is totally not true. We had 4 days on the sea and the pools were so small that there was not enough room for everyone. There are a lot of restaurants, some shows, and a large slide, water slide x 3, and two rock climbing walls and surf experiences. But by the time we were on board, and if you couldn't book before, its as limited as to what you could do. We were lucky that we had the Grand suite which entitled us to have special privileges and we really appreciated that so much. Oh, there was also zip line which was zip line from one side of the center of the boat to the other corner where the ship was open in the center. As far as guests who had suits there was a small area designated for them, and it was full most of the time, but no pool.. No where to cool off. Just one hot tubs in a hot area and a bar. But we loved the peace and quiet away from everyone else. Just were so hot. We also had a lounge area with before dinner items which we really enjoyed.

Our second excursion was skipped because it was 6 to 7 hours and my husband was overheated the day before from sitting in the hot tub for 4 hours off and on. So he could not tolerate the 6 to 7 hours in the sun, or walking, etc. We didn't ask for our money back because we thought we probably wouldn't get it and didn't want to complain. Our last excursion we went kayaking on the ocean/snorkling...it was suppose to include beach chairs and time on the beach...we received the snacks and were sent back to the ship instead....no beach time. Arrived back to the ship early about 1120. So we were not given the time nor everything we paid for for that excursion.

Grand Suite with Balcony

Cabin GS

Loved the suite because of space and bathroom was relaxing. Linens were amazingly soft. My wife cannot take small spaces so this was a necessary for us. But we loved the room. Just the TV channels sucked and we really needed something to help us unwind when we were in the room an didnt feel well so we used our computer.
