My first expedition cruise, but it will not be my last! I am already looking at other SilverSea Expedition Cruises trying to decide which I want to take next. If you like to stay busy, this is the trip for you. Morning and afternoon excursions are taken to the islands for hiking, touring, beach relaxation, kayaking or snorkeling. Guides are knowledgeable, passionate about the conservation of the Galapagos and eager to answer questions. Our cabin was large with plenty of closet space and well stocked amenities each day. The food was plentiful, delicious and lots of variety. Before and after dinner entertainment by an excellent pianist while the friendly bar staff kept libations coming. The Ecuadorian staff could not have been more attentive, warm and friendly. Lastly, but most importantly, the ship has a photographer that captures your week of memories on DVD both video and photos. I am so glad I purchased as a convenient way to share my trip with family and friends. So much easier than organizing photos myself and much more professionally done. He captured moments I could never have gotten especially while snorkeling. Highly recommend!
