Alaska has been on our bucket list and since it does involve some walking, we thought this was the right year for us to go. Plus we liked the Vancouver embarkation and Seattle ending as we wanted to spend some time in both. With three at sea days, there was more time on the ship than normal but we enjoyed the lectures and found plenty to keep us busy. We did not book the specialty restaurants ahead of time and that was a mistake, The Main Dining Room food was very good but did not have as much variety as we expected. Excursions booked by Oceania were good but local providers were available and we used several of those at 1/2 the price. Cabin was kept very well, room service was excellent. A very good cruise. Would like to see more interaction from the ship officers other than the designated events.Entertainment was good. Interesting that there were so few on the Cruise Critic Roll Call - not even enough to have a reception.
The Captain did an excellent job of doing a 360 degree turn at the Hubbard Glacier.
Just as we expected.
