We are 55 and found ourselves one of the youngest travellers on the cruise. First experience with river cruise and we enjoyed it. The excursions included in the package are only about 2-3 hours maximum, so you have to explore more with your own plans or pay to join their optional tours. Best thing about Avalon river cruise is that all alcoholic drinks are included with meals, we started our breakfast with champagne. One suggestion is that there could be a richer choice of fruits, would be great if they can include berries, cherries, avocados etc. Also I was expecting they would add local fresh groceries but.....L'occitane toiletries were provided - Good...Bikes are provided so we went for bike rides around the city. The gym room is very small but considering the size of the boat, we couldn't complain, especially it is vacant all the time...I recommend the cruise to my friends.
