This was our 4th crossing on QM2 but our first roundtrip so we wondered if we would get fed up being onboard for 15 nights. I'm pleased to report we didn't, it was the most relaxing trip so far despite less than brilliant weather and a few hours during the storm where we actually felt queasy - a first on QM2 and I think possibly to do with looking at the sea & talking about feeling bad after which we were fine if we lay down but standing up was less pleasant!

New carpets have made their way down to deck 4 cabins as have the new door handles (don't like them they are sharp & hard to hold, especially if you have longer fingernails).

Food was good in everywhere. Love the offerings you get in the Carinthia Lounge, kedgeree for breakfast and pulled pork flatbread or chicken & mushroom crepe for lunch were all very tasty. Made a point of always checking the hot pudding out in Kings Court at lunchtime as I had somehow missed that on our first 2.5 trips. I also noticed there is porridge there at breakfast that had escaped me in the past. We only had breakfast in Britannia once, service was very slow but in the evenings it was fine, our waiter Eric was very good.

Balcony, sheltered

Cabin BZ

Happy with cabin, quiet. Handy for the staircase to connections for nice coffee & to the commodore club for pre dinner drinks.
