Sail Date: Jun 2017
Cabin: Scenic Ocean View

This cruise was chosen for two specific reasons: Date and Half Moon Cay.

About us: We were a group of 14 celebrating many things and booked through a private TA. Each person in our group had a great time to the point that it is still being discussed. We had first time cruisers to experienced including having sailed Carnival's newest ship in the Med. As a result, we approach cruising with realistic expectations of having a good time in the ports by way of our floating hotel.

HOTEL: Embassy Suites 17th street. Awesome location for pre-cruise activities for a group of approximately 35. Provides transportation to port and will negotiate the rate per person. Walking distance to restaurants and short ride to the beach and Las Olas.

Cabin Review

Scenic Ocean View

Cabin 6J

AWESOME - Ocean View with two large windows. Better than a balcony and huge! Many times we just enjoyed the view from a chair or the sofa. Great when arriving in ports and for sunrise. (Not sure if cabin category is correct)

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Recommend leaving port area and checking out the area!

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Easy port to get around in and to the Carnival Splendor.

Nassau

Do it yourself port. Many beaches and taxis available.

Half Moon Cay

Must experience. A days of fun and relaxation

Grand Turk

Not a big island, but nice beaches.
