We wanted to experience Eastern Europe, not having been there before, and chose an 8 day cruise between Budapest and Passau. The shore excursions were informative without being great and we sometimes had only brief periods to explore the cities/towns on our own. Our on board experience was mostly good and all the crew were ultra-attentive and always helpful. The restaurant service was impeccable and the dinner menus selective and mainly above par but breakfast and lunch choices, while always tasty, were practically static every day. On board entertainment was below par with the same pianist and vocalist nightly and this must have greater variety like using local performers, in each port, reflecting their local culture. Airport services with pick-up and dispatch was well organized and timely. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and without a hitch. Overall, a bit pricey for what you get in return but we would definitely consider using them again.

Cabin Review

Outside Stateroom with Window

Cabin 5

The cabin was very cramped for space and difficult to move around but, considering how little time we spent therein - mainly sleeping & showering, etc.- it was tolerable.
