We (my husband and I, both retired) thoroughly enjoyed this, our first, river cruise. Te ship was modern and very comfortable. Our room was a little tight but nice with the balcony, which we used often day and night. The food was excellent. I have a restrictive diet and the maitre de was more than willing to be sure I had plenty to eat right down to delicious gluten & lactose free deserts. The shore excursions were all led by very knowledgeable guides, most of whom were university professors. We have already planned our next adventure on the Viking Truvor from Moscow to St. Petersburg in June 2019. Excursions were included, so the price for the cruise was well worth it. A bottle of water was provided each excursion. Also, sodas, beer and wine were included in the price. We've sailed on 6 ocean cruises with another line and for the price, we couldn't match the value.

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

Cabin is small but comfortable. The ability to plug our electronics in with an adapter was great. Room was always clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. It was nice having fresh water everyday in the room.
