This was our first river cruise, and we chose Evergreen Emerald Sun cruise as we wanted a 7 night cruise ending in Switzerland. We could not fault this cruise. The staff were extremely professional, very friendly and helpful. The cruise director was brilliant. She worked extremely hard day and night, and ensured everything ran smoothly both on the ship, day excursions, and nighttime entertainment.
The cities we visited were great, with comfortable coaches and knowledgeable guides waiting for us at every stop. We did city walking tours, usually around the old towns, and also had free time to explore the cities on our own.
If you want to rest, then day excursions are quite tiring, so some people stay on board the ship to relax.
Cabin Review
Cabin was everything we expected. We had a Balcony, but didn't really spend much time in our cabin as we sat in the comunal lounge to enable us to see both sides of the river. The cabin was clean and had plenty of storage.
