Having just returned from a 14 night cruise around the Agean and then The Adriatic, the cruise was excellent, e or two items could be better, i.e. the Greek destinations has no shuttle services at the ports, this can be very difficult for the elderly or those with problems walking, the condition of Greek pavements on long walks are not good at the best of times. A simple shuttle service (free) would solve this matter. When visiting Santorini be very very wary of the prices in the bar's, they are charging 6.to euro for 1 bottle of local beer Mythos, this is normally purchased for 2_3 euro all over Greece but they seem to milk the cruise goers. Rhodes is the same they advertise local beer 2.30 euros but don't tell you that is for a half (if that) glass. As for the Adriatic, absolutely fantastic especially Venice but the let down once again is shuttle bus (lack of). If the ship is birthed on terminal 109 then those who are hard walking or elderly prepare for a 20 minute walk to the water bus, on e three prepare for some fantastic sites, when the ship snails from Venice it's well worth investing in the VIP sailaway party which is held above all decks and just above the bridge for some fantastic photo shots, (13.95). The metals on board the dream a rd perfect, lots of choices and enough places to dine, the staff on board are all perfect, I don't think we saw one unhappy person either in the restaurants, bars or cabin staff, officers and supervisors are always on hand if ever needed, Octavian the hotel manager is one of the most helpful persons you could ever meet as all his staff are professional and very well turned out. It's not our first cruise with Tho sons but until now our best, to embryo e on board The Dream well done and tnankyou for a most enjoyable 2 weeks.

Cabin Review

Cabin Outdude

Spacious and the bed very comfortable and kept every clean.

The shows that were performed each evening were some good and some mediocre. Over the two weeks there were 2 comedians on the first guy from Hull he was very funny but however the second from Wales tended to tell a few jokes as the same as the first and towards the end of his performance he was asking everyone where they were from and getting everyone to stand up we were standing clapping for over 10 minutes which I felt uncomfortable. There is a kiddies club and on several evenings we saw parents with there children approaching ships officers and requiring three signature, the children looked happy as they were meeting people from different parts of the globe and getting to know them as if not for the organisation of the kiddies club would never have. We had no complaints as to the food as I said previous but I did over hear a few passengers comment on the length of time you had to wait to be served in the Orion restaurant hence the use of the buffet restaurant, as an ex Royal Navy man if the officers all eat in the buffet restaurant, then it's good enough for myself.
