First, anyone thinking about this cruise should know that this cruise embarks/disembarks at both Barcelona and Civitavecchia (Rome). About 3/4 of the passengers use Barcelona and the remainder use Civitavecchia. I would recommend staying in Rome ahead of time and boarding in Rome. Civitavecchia is a distance from Rome, so if you embark in Barcelona, expect a long ride to go see the Vatican.
Second, it was very hot in the Western Mediterranean in July and there were a lot of kids on the cruise. If you are traveling without kids I would recommend not going in July.
Third, always get a UDP and UBP. Otherwise, your dining and drink options will be limited
The cabin was nice, but nothing special. We were located port, forward. The bathroom set up, with the sink in the room, is a little odd but you get used to it. We lucked out with a large balcony, which is very nice to have, and has a lounge chair. There is plenty of storage in the room. We had a broken draw, it was "fixed" but still didn't work well.
