We had a great cruise aboard the Celebrity Summit. This was our "free" cruise for reaching Zenith, which was, however, far from free. We wanted to be in a Suite so we paid the difference in the room price, plus this was a 9 day cruise and the "free" cruise was a 7 day cruise. That being said, it was a great cruise and Captain Alex, made sure that our Zenith recognition was indeed very very special. We were invited privately to the bridge and met by his entire senior crew and given models of the ship, and a GIANT cake which spelled out Zenith. Then that evening we had a private dinner in Tuscan Grill with the Captain and his executive team. Captain Alex has a great personality and he and his team made sure we felt special and recognized.
The Sky Suite we were in was very nice, could use some new drapes, but there was nothing in the cabin which made us feel the least bit uncomfortable. We ate our dinners in Luminae and from the Hostess, Laurence to the incredible waiter Paolo, to the very best sommelier we have ever had, Maggie, dinners were all excellent.
We had most of our lunches in the buffet and pool grill and always found something to our liking prepared well.
Much better than the first cruise we had out of this port. Embarkation was smooth and quick. Port very clean and modern
Just took tender into town and walked around. A beautiful day and a very pretty town
Got off the ship and made the looooong hike into Boston. Spent the day walking around the City. Boston is a great City with a lot to do and see
