Background: We were 3 couples (late 40s to early 60s)- cousins. It was the first cruise for one of the couples- and so that is why we selected a shorter cruise. It was my 7th cruise and 2nd time to Bermuda.

Hotel Info: We live 45 minutes from Bayonne- and it is wonderful to be ON vacation in that amount of time. It is too easy. My husband dropped me off at the terminal, parked the car, walked back to the terminal and off we went. They were still doing construction the last time we were at the terminal, so this time was much improved. The woman who took pictures of us for seapass cards while we waited to board, was very helpful and pleasant.

The Anthem is HUGE. Think of huge- and then think BIGGER. While in Bermuda, there was an NCL ship docked right in front of the Anthem. Looked like the Anthem was the mother ship, and NCL was the cute little baby ship. 4800 passengers sounds like a lot- and it seemed a lot on the first day as everyone was trying to get acclimated and settled in. But by the second day, I didn't even know there were that many people. Anthem is beautifully decorated in natural colors- not the blues and greens of other ships. Everything was quite spotless and clean.

King's Wharf

We went to Snorkel Park Beach. A little crowded and no pick sand- but it beat having to travel to Horseshoe Bay which is just as crowded.
