As I had never been on a cruise before, spoke to colleagues who recommended that I chose the itinerary that had the ports I wanted to visit and EPIC med cruise is fantastic as you can see so much if you want as the ports that we visited were excellent. We got off on organised tours for the 3 italian ports, but did very little at Cannes and Palma - we were all so tired by then! Our family was split over 2 cabins (inside and balcony across from each other) which worked well for our family of 4, sharing a family cabin would have been tough. Cabin staff were wonderful (especially Vanessa who helped out so much when one of our girls was ill) - nothing was too much trouble. Eat in Cagneys (excellent) Moderno (ok), Teppanyini (good), circus show (food ok, show amazing), buffet (lovely), Manhattan & Taste (just ok). I think we have been spoiled as the entertainment was top notch (shows so good, Beatles brilliant, magician world class). I loved the everyday managed to get a sun bed even later in the day - maybe not at my first choice, but always somewhere and the frozen cocktails - yum! Looking to arrange another cruise but it will be difficult to top the Epic
