This was our first cruise and I was extremely hesitant. I worried about wait times, lines and motion sickness. I had no idea what to expect and wanted to share some of my opinions for other 1st timers.

If you can do it....book a suite. We were in a Grand Suite - 10660. You will never wait in lines or be mandated to dining room set times. The room size was fine and the double balcony was an extra perk. The bathroom was quite large with a big tub / shower and double sinks. Because of the tub size....taller people might wish for a little more room, but I found the tub to be great to relax. If you enjoy this, bring some bath salts, etc as the ones in the spa start at over $80.

The Coastal Kitchen is the best spot on the ship in my opinion. The staff there is outstanding and provides over the top service. FYI - You can also get drinks here - so a beverage package isn't necessary unless you are Huge Pool drinkers. My husband is a craft beer drinker and could only get beer at one spot on the ship so the package was good for him, but for standard drinks or wine - you can just use this spot.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite with Balcony

Cabin GS

Great size. Plenty of closet / drawer space. Nice vanity area as well. Good size bathrooms and balconies.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Hot and crowded! Another suite perk - you walk right in and into an air conditioned lounge

St. Maarten

We rented a sailboat and sailed around both sides of the island. We stopped to snorkel and to see the famous airport beach. The boat served lunch, drinks and also provided all the snorkel equipment and had a tarzan swing that everyone loved.

San Juan

Loved walking around and trying the food. Find your way to Pinkys!
