Even though we had done this itinerary before, it was one we were ready to do again-with a couple of days in Barbados!
Because we embarked in Barbados, it was very easy. Carnival was ready for the couple of hundred people who were joining the cruise. The interior cabin was well organized, seeming to be bigger that other cabins we have had. Again, because we boarded in Barbados, we were assigned to My Time Dining. But this was not may choice. After a conversation with the Maitre'd we were assigned to a table in Imagination for dinner at 6:00. It was perfect! The staff were very friendly and paid attention, and throughout the cruise they remembered our names and our preferences. They were so much fun!
We chose to go on an excursion each day. Each port was beautiful and all excursions were great! Disembarkation each day went very smoothly.
The set up in the cabin was very well organized. The shower was a full square which gave us enough space to shower comfortably. There is a good amount of hanging space as well as shelves to hold folded clothes. In addition to a stool at the 'desk', there was enough room for a comfortable chair. Unlike many newer ships, there were plugs in the lamps over each bed which allowed me to plug in my CPAP without an extension cord. The far wall was disguised as a window with curtains which made the room feel bigger!
