We had three grandchildren visiting us, along with one son. The ship seemed to have everything the kids could enjoy. Unfortunately, just about every activity had long wait times. Worst of all, there were wall-to-wall people everywhere . One pool had a sign stating the capacity was 19 individuals. I counted 49, mostly adults, in the pool. One of our 11-year-olds who loves to swim actually said he didn't want to go in the pool because there was no room.
We have been on over 100 cruises and both my wife and myself would rate the food as average. Not good and not bad.
We had the feeling that we were being "nickeled and dimed" to death but this is basically true on most crew ships. An example, a Budweiser beer was over nine dollars at one of the deck bars on the Allure. (This is in contrast to a bar/restuarant on the main beach in Saint Maarten that charged three dollars for two beers).
Our cabins where "cozy" but certainly adequate. The attendant was friendly and did his job well.
