We never really thought we would like a cruise, but if we were ever going to try one it would either be one of the European River Cruises of an Alaskan Cruise. Friends we going so we decided to go for it. We loved it.

We had a balcony suite. (C304) It was near the elevator but we never heard anything. I was awake a lot in the night, but mostly because I just had to look out the balcony door and see the view again. An inside cabin would be rough on me. I'm always interested in how the ship will navigate that tight turn and such. The bridge crew probably got tired of having me pop my head out in the middle of the night.

Service was outstanding. The ship was super clean always. You're not going to starve. You can eat healthy if you choose but making that choice is indeed a challenge with all the treats around!

Cabin BE

We loved our cabin. It was near the elevator but we heard no noise. It was small but we kept it tidy. The bathroom is tiny, especially the shower. But I'm a big girl so if I can make it work you can too. I'd pick this cabin again in a heart beat. The steward was lovely as well. I suggest you pack a few battery powered votives for the evening. If you keep one in the bathroom you don't have to turn on the harsh light for a middle of the night pee. Also, there is an outlet behind the TV that many don't know about that's great for charging your devices.
