We booked our cruise through Costco.com and booked this particular because the dates worked well for everyone in our party (13 of us total) and it went round-trip out of Seattle. Embarkation and disembarkation went more smoothly than any cruise any of us had been on before.
Our stateroom was mostly good, however when we got there the first day we noticed there was a sizing sticker from a new piece of clothing stuck to a mirror. Also, one of the drawers didn't shut all the way. Upon inspection, we found someone else's undershirt had fallen behind the drawers. Kinda wish that had been found before we got there, but otherwise our stateroom worked well for us.
Entertainment was great, but activities were a little lacking. There always seemed to be things going on, but nothing super interesting to us. We did participate in some activities and did have some fun with those. However, it wasn't until the last full day on the ship that we found out about activity cards that we could have had signed by the staff/crew who led them which we could have received some sort of prize for participation in a certain number of events. The last day of the cruise is really not the time to be hearing about such things...
Mendenhall Glacier is a must-see if you've never been to Juneau!
Ketchikan is a cute little port town. Me and a few others geocached around town - there are an amazing amount of caches given the relatively small town.
Gorgeous place to start and end a cruise. We had great weather too!
We didn't have a lot of time. Some of us went geocaching and some shopped around Chinatown a little.
