We choose this cruise for its iternary and also being a new ship hoped it would be special how wrong can you be. There were more things wrong than good and with staff leaving at every port and being replaced by Chinese staff it ended being a training ship for which we paid a lot of money. Many of the public toilets were out of order at all times. Ship organised excursions were very poor don't think anybody from Princess had ever been on these and when a coach turned up with 7 broken seats when people were expected to sit on them. We dined in the Allegro and were put in one of the private dining rooms out the back we had asked for a table of 8 wasnt even close we hadvyo complain to get what we wanted. You dont expect supplies to run but they did Pineapple juice, Noblio Pinot Grigo wine and the worst was English Tea Bags we were told that supplies weren't plentiful of items not used by the Chinese. Not what you expect from Princess Cruises.
Much smaller than previous Princess ships also we had a adjoining cabin with friends with internal doors but when the balcony door between cabins was opened the door went halfway across our friends door. A design fault which no one had noticed.
Did our own thing
Shuttle guide was really good she wrote things down in Japanese for everyone
Went to castle by taxi
Apart from having to queue for an hour to get through immigration even though we were giving times by Princess no members if staff there to supervise this so 1 hour late leaving
