First time river cruiser (have done 2 ocean cruises, 1 Carribean, 1 Mediterranean).

Really loved the ability to walk right into town/city and partake of everything, and Hermod had excellent port locations in each place.

Hermod's staff were very warm and welcoming, and the crew's morale seemed genuinely upbeat. Some lived in the port cities we visited, and so could get home at night of those stopovers, which I'm sure helped make for happier staff. Their consideration and patience made for excellent service.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

Cabin D

Loved everything about our cabin - clean comfortable, and air conditioned.

Only complaint: the toilet paper dispenser (identical to tissue dispenser, but not really practical in use). So we would just pull the roll out and leave it on the sink ledge.

Port Reviews

Bratislava

Fun to check out the quaint streets and shops.

In afternoon tour of ship's wheelhouse was also enjoyable, as was program director's explanation of the biggest lock Hermod sailed through on the cruise.
