It was on part of the river that we sailed our last Viking cruise but could not see anything--the castles on the Rhine--because it was pouring rain and very low on the water clouds/fog. And it was a chance to travel with friends and go on the post-land extension.
Cabin steward was great, serving crew was great, cruise director was cute and bubbly, manager was terrific. All in all, all the people were terrific.
We were disappointed compared with last cruise:

Cabin was well laid out and comfortably appointed. Not much room between bottom of bed and dresser, so 2 people could not pass to get from side to side of the bed.
