We chose this cruise to see Paris and to experience the D-Day beaches at Normandy.. The ship was very comfortable and the on board service was very good. The room was clean and very comfortable with a great shower. The food was excellent. We were well taken care of by the staff.

Several of the optional and included tours on shore occurred simultaneously meaning that we had to make a choice and in at least one case missed an included tour. A cruiser should be able to attend all included tours.

When compared to other tours and river cruises this tour was a little light on cultural experiences. We go on tours for the cultural and historic experiences. The tour of Pais and Versailles were very good with an excellent local guide. I don't remember his name ( perhaps, Lief?) but he was excellent - a Swedish man. Read more
