Wanted to explore the Bordeaux region of France. Interested in the wines and wineries there. This cruise was kind of disappointing. Not enough wine tasting for the region we were in. There wasn't a lot of entertainment like other cruises we have taken. I enjoy the locals coming on board with their product or entertainment. Only 2 wine tastings for the trip was not what I expected. Wish there were more. The tours were not as exciting as other trips and out of the 8 trips I have taken this is my least favorite. The crew was great, the food was great, the room was great and everything else about the trip was great. The program director was great as well. She was on another cruise with us and was just a great then as she was on this trip. We totally enjoy Viking River Cruises and plan on taking many more in the future.
