Viking is always great--no bad surprises ! It was a new ship and a new route. All was smoothly accomplished. Food was outstanding! Service was great. We have taken Viking cruises before; all were excellent, but this one was incredible. The smaller size boats on the river are just great. Quarters are a bit smaller than the ocean cruise ships, but are very comfortable. You ask for something one time--and it's done right away. I also like that the crew speaks English fluently. They take time to converse and make you fell comfortable. It would be hard to beat a cruise like this. Transports from airports, to ships and hotels were a snap. No luggage was misplaced, because you were able to check yours before you boarded transport busses. Tours were great, especially the tour in Paris. Excellent guides and very interesting . We have booked another cruise with Viking. In a few weeks we will explore Scandinavia. We can't wait!
