it covered five countries with a great departure point. The staff on board were polite, friendly and very personable. The service and food were impeccable. Our Program Director seemed to be everywhere at once and never seemed to sleep and he had boundless energy. We had one little glitch in Regensburg where we had to stay an extra day as the river was too high. In true Viking fashion, we were transported by Mercedes to the next port and provided lunch with beer and wine and our included excursion. They provided escorts and up to date information on what was happening. The ports and excursions provided a lot of historic background which made us able to understand some of current situations. At the end of the cruise, we took an extension to Prague. The included and optional excursions were fantastic. The only bad part was the Corinthia Hotel in Prague where the air conditioning did not work.
