We chose this Cruise based upon our satisfaction with the Columbia River Cruise we took last year. The service was superior as was the whole crew. They were all veryfriendly. So we decided to book another cruise with AQ with the main purpose of goingto Paducah Kentucky to see the Quilt Museum. We were disappointed with the other ports of call as there was not much to do and very little to see, with a few exceptions. Louisville and St Louis. The excursion people did not seem very knowledgable about what wasin the ports. Some of the staff seemed like it was a summer job for them.
On the whole, the crew was not very friendly with a few exceptions. No smiles or hello's. Alex the Cruise Director was outstanding and always had a smile. The evening shows entertainment were great with the band and cruise staff. The outside entertainmentthat came on board one of the last evenings was awful and too loud.
We only went to the dining room 3 nights. We were at table 70 and the main waitresswas not friendly and rarely cracked a smile. Also the food was only fair. We preferred to
The cabin was ok but the room was never made up until after 1pm every day.
We never met the cabin steward
