Interesting trip along the Mekong River.

We began our trip in Ho Chi Min City and explored this busy and populous city. And the trip to the ship included a visit to Cu Chi tunnels which the Viet Cong used during the war to attack US troops. We will take excursions off the ship daily to see and experience life along the river in both Viet Nam and Cambodia. Phnom Penh was particularly interesting stop and we sampled all thing made of rice and some snake wine as well. We tried every type of transportation from ox carts to tuk tuks. Embarking and disembarking went smoothly. The staff was very accommodating and professional. Rooms and exterior areas were always spotless. Our room opened up with pocket doors on to the walkway with chairs for each cabin right outside their doors. Meals were varied and very good with the opportunity to sample some local fare. Taste of Cambodia was one such dinner. The sun deck was the an excellent location for relaxing during afternoon and post dinner sailings. Our tour guide Henry was excellent. Informative, with a very can-do attitude.

Cabin Review

Standard Outside Stateroom

Cabin A

The cabins on this ship are small but extremely well appointed, efficient and comfortable. It is all teak wood and shiny. The air conditioning is excellent. The bathroom is good sized and everything functions well.
