The ship was beautiful and very luxurious. Every detail was well designed and implemented. Our cabin was spacious and lovely. The ship had every emenity I could ask for. The food was delicious--well presented, well varied, and elegantly served. All the staff was excellent--polite, helpful, and respectful. I thought there was an excellent balance of activities and "down time". The tours were educational and entertaining. Having local guides was a perfect touch. Our director, Marie, was exceptional!! I can't say enough about her! I had airline connection problems and arrived one day late for the cruise and the Viking staff were helpful with our problem and the ship staff welcomed us with open arms the next day--picked us up at the airport, saved lunch for us, and took us right to our cabin. I would most definitely go on another Viking cruise! I'm saving money right for a trip in 2019.
