We chose this cruise because it called into a lot of ports which we hadn't seen. It was a 21 day cruise from Singapore to Shanghai and it was on it's maiden Grand Asia Cruise.
Our flight arrived early into Singapore so we had to wait until 10.00am before we could proceed aboard.
The ship was impressive and our balcony cabin was on Deck 12 midship.
Cabin Review
Balcony
The cabin was quite roomy and the bathroom slightly bigger than other Princess ships we have been on. The power outlets were 110v US type and there were two of these, one either side of the desk with two USB ports sitting behind one of the bedside lights.
There were three drawers either side of the bed and the hanging space was opposite the bathroom where there were also shelves, and of course, the safe.

Singapore
We had been to Singapore before so opted to go straight to the ship.
Tokyo (Yokohama)
The ship docked at Yokohama so the ship's shuttle dropped us off at the train station where we could catch a train to Tokyo which was a 45 min trip.We were told we could get money from ATMs at 7Eleven or the Post Office, neither of which was handy. Local ATMs only accept local cards. On top of that, what they don't tell you is that the shops don't open till 10.00am so there was a very long waiting line at the Money Exchange at the train station. Most people had to get the local currency before they could do anything.
After getting off in Tokyo, we walked to the Grand Palace, however, being a Monday, it was closed.
We then decided to get a taxi to the Ginza district where we had lunch in a typical Japanese restaurant. Communication was interesting, with most young people pulling out their phones and looking up Google Translate, which was a bonus.
When we got back to Yokohama we visited the local Chinese sector where we have never seen so many restaurants in one area before. Very interesting.
Osaka
The ship docks right near the largest ferris wheel in the world and also the building holds Leggoland and some markets.
We decided to get a cab to Osaka Castle which was very interesting. The taxi ride was expensive but nothing near what it would have cost 4 adults paying for a ship tour.
When we got back to the docks, we went into the local markets where we could buy quite a few different souvenirs from the norm. Once again, the shops don't open till 10.00am.
Seoul (Incheon)
We did not dock until 12.00pm so did not have a lot of time here. We caught the ship's shuttle into the city where we walked around and had a look at the markets and shops which are in what appear to be the old subways. It started raining so dampened things a bit.
