We were originally booked on a Panama and Alaska cruises but due to problems with visas had to cancel and re-book the Mediterranean. This caused a few problems with transferring of deposits which were originally refused but nicely resolved by Princess in Sydney (thanks).

The ship was almost new. I think it had done 2 or 3 cruises before ours which we joined in Barcelona. Biggest criticism was the cruise was presented as a 28 day cruise but in fact was 4 x 7 day back-to-back cruises. Essentially it was like the movie 'Groundhog Day' with 4 balloon drops, 4 champagne waterfall, 4 captains circle functions and same food menus every 7 days, same shows, movies etc. - you get the picture. Thankfully only one muster drill.

Food in the dining room was nice (but repetitive on a 7 day cycle). Wait staff were professional, engaged and generally excellent.
