We chose Viking because of the great deal they were having. We got buy one, get one half price and free airfare. I'm so glad we did because we absolutely LOVED everything about it. The staff was so accommodating. We even played ping pong with 2 staff members in Cologne! The food was just delicious. We tried to sit in the same area for every meal because we loved our waiter. The maitre d' was so personable and fun. Our favorite place was either Rudesheim Germany (do the optional excursion to dine in Rudesheim) or Cologne. But it's hard to pick a favorite because it was all so beautiful. The cabin was very nice. I loved the heated floor. All the extras that were provided were very nice and great quality, such as shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The ship itself was beautiful. It was so nice to go on the top deck and have a glass of wine while cruising the river. We will definitely go on another cruise with Viking. We are actually looking into a mediterranean cruise.
