This was our third Viking cruise (two river/one ocean) and we were not disappointed. We took the "Castles and Legends" voyage which included four days (two in Munich/two in Salzburg) prior to sailing and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The ship itself is lovely with beautiful artwork, comfortable seating areas, and plenty of room on deck for sightseeing. Coffee and yummy cookies (or pastries in the morning) are always available for snacking.

The staff is terrific and made our time on the ship so much fun. Within a couple of days many seemed like old friends.

Rooms on the longships are not big, but are very well organized, comfortable and give you what you need. They are comfortable and provide lots of spots to store belongings and souvenirs.
