TV advertisements looked wonderful so we decided to go. The lectures and historical tours taught us much. The guides were first rate. We had no negative experiences. The food was delicious, gourmet but not pretentious. The crew was very friendly and genuinely wished us to have a good time. One of the best things was sitting with other passengers at meals and during the delightful entertainment evenings and getting to know about them. We are American and chatted with Canadians and Australians. So as a bonus we learned about farming life in Canada and about how things are in Australia. We enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to dress up for meals or the evening, just nicer clothes than we had worn on our daily tours. Also the fact that the cruise included tours at each stop made our planning easy and there were no surprise extras that we had to pay for.
Cabin was like an upscale hotel. Clean, comfortable bed, good lighting.
