This cruise was on the duoro river in portugal. We probably would have never travelled to this fascinating country except for this viking cruise. It was nice to have 3 days in lisbon to start.
We loved the tile museum and the tours of the sandeman wineries. the food was excellent and the crew was terrific! Exploring the harry potter bookstare was an unexpected treat.
Salamanca,spain was a treasure! The dress and customs were a delight to experience. We loved how the builders of the library used flying bats to preserve the lbooks in the university library. The students still wear the same style black capes that were worn in the 14th century.
Cabin Review
Standard Outside Stateroom
Small but the cabin design was well planned and appointed. It is nice that there is space under the bed for suitcases and there are sufficient dresser space for 2. The activities keep you from being in the room except for sleeping!
