Im a bit of a cruise veteran with over 130 cruises since 1986! However 130 of the cruises was as catering staff on the superb liner the Cunard QE2 (late 1980s) and only 2 recently as a passenger! Last year summer 2016 we tried the Thomson Majesty (which was very good value albeit an aging ship) so we decided to try the newly refurbished TUI Discovery and last week we boarded for the Cosmopolitan Classics cruise from Palma Majorca. I can honestly say that the cruise was absolutely faultless and it really is a lovely 5 star hotel.
Cabins are very spacious , we had a inside cabin on deck 6 which was big enough for 2 people no problem, cabins have aircon which is also very good, SKY TV is available wherever you are at sea or is port so no problem keeping upto date with world news & sports news.
Restaurants - The food is very good throughout the ship,
