Wanted to see Germany and wanted to revisit Prague and Paris. Everything about this trip was first class: rooms, food, service, excursions. We especially liked that all the tour guides were specific to each locale. This gave us a better and broader understanding of the locales and specifics about lifestyles. The bus trips to some of the onshore excursions were great because we were able to see the interior lands and towns and the on-bus guides kept us informed on each locale we passed.

We especially appreciated the service and courtesy of all the employees. Because the ship is small, you have the opportunity to interact with almost all the staff. From our housekeeper making sure our room was always tiptop to the bartender always remembering our favorite cocktails to the receptionist reserving last minute tickets for 6 to Moulin Rouge everything was exceptional. Food was very nice with multiple selections.

This was our first river cruise. We have done multiple ocean cruises but found the river cruise to really be more interesting. We got to see everything up close from the vineyards, to the homes along the river, to the people camping on the banks. Also very interesting was experiencing going through multiple locks and realizing what an excellent job the Captain does in navigating the ship.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

The cabin was well appointed and roomy. The bathroom was larger than we expected and all linens were high quality. I'm very picky about a mattress and this one was excellent. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony and watching the passing scenery and experiencing passing through the locks from an up close viewpoint.
