Wanted to see Japan and the festivals. However the tours were not up to standards. The food was below normal. The service was way below normal. There were no lectures. The International Cafe was missing. Maybe if we went when the weather was not so hot the tours would have been better. I think that Carnival ran this cruise with Princess because we saw lots of carnival-Princess signs. At dinner one night, our waiter served one of the four at our table their appetizer. When she was finished he took her plate and served me mine. After taking my plate he served the third guest his salad. When asked why he said that's the way the food came. There was not enough room in the theater for all the people on the ship, Princess needs to make smaller ships or add another time for the shows. However, I still think Princess is the best cruise line.
