I selected this cruise because it fit my time line. I had visitors from Canada and they wanted a cruise. This was the only one that was affordable and fit our schedule. I had just come off Harmony of the Seas in June 2017 and booked Royal's Enchantment of the Seas for August 2017. As this is our 12th cruise we feel that we have enough experience to write an honest review. The high lights. Great dining in My fair Lady. Ask for Kumar Vemana table 61. This guy goes above and beyond service. Took real good care of us. He was so nice I have to send him a gift. Great shows. Stephanie Parker does Whitney Houston, great show. The singers and dancers put on really great shows. Great comic who still has me laughing. Rooms were clean and well organized. I had room with a view numbered 3152, right under the dining room. My wife has very sensitive sense of smell and she said she could smell bacon cooking at 4:00 am. You might be better getting a room under the theater. Our guests were in room 3512. They I believe, never heard any noise. I like going on cruises as i don't have to find parking, no dishes to wash, no shopping for groceries, no making up beds. Every night a Broadway Show. Great value for your money. If I need to freshen up my room is close by. For me it is a great way to travel. I am a late comer to cruising. I have been to about 47 or more countries. But as i age this is the way to go. I get to visit new places, try new food and have a vacation and new experiences.

Okay now the down side. The ship is 20 years old. However, it is well maintained, but showing her age. Not as many fun things to do as it is an older, smaller ship. However, the prices for the vacation are very reasonable. Another downside was on our previous 11 cruises we always got up at 8 am on the last day and went to eat at 8:30 and depart the ship by 9:15 or 9:30 am. This ship we went to eat at 8:30 and all the food was gone. We found some at the last minute at the Gluten Free Food Bar. Otherwise we were out of luck. Twice the room steward knocked on the door to see if we were gone, even though I put the Do Not Disturb Sign on the door.

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin FO

Clean, room steward was great. No Mini Bar to chill our beverages. Plenty of closet space. TV was new and worked good. Shower was a little tricky. All my other cruises had a tad more room. This shower curtain sort of stuck to you when you showered. I'm 200 lbs. about 6 feet. No way a good amount of the larger guests can even fit in the shower.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Nassau is the default stop for all cruise ship going or coming from the Caribbean. I've been here 12 times. I lived on a sailboat in Nassau harbor for 2 months. I know it well. Most if not all the attractions are very close to the cruise port. You don't need any tours here. Just walk. Cabs are only $4 per person. The bus is $1.25. Must see the Queen's Staircase, Fincastle, the John Watlings Distillery, Blue Wave Conch Restaurant at Potter's Cay. See my video about Blue Wave on my You tube Channel Captainorin.Make sure to use an "i" as there is another Captainoren with an "e".

Key West

I lived here for 18 years so I know it well. I use to do a great majority of the cruise ship weddings in Key West Harbor. Easy to get around here. A good start is the Conch Train as they will show and tell you everything about Key West. All your attractions are 5 minute walk from the ship. Mel Fisher's is worth a look.

Miami

Close to South Beach. This is where all the action is in Miami.
